It's been a while since I've come up with anything vaguely decent that I'd consider uploading but I did this earlier this evening having remembered to buy some apples on the way home and it's not come out too bad.

I've another school themed arrangement in mind but have yet to collect all the props I want for it - one day I will.......

Hi.

I am really tired to say too much on it...

I like the concept you have worked on, and you have shown a good amount of creativity.

I would change the title from 'apple' to 'scholar'. The amount of visual clues gravitates enormously towards the teacher rather than his/her snack.
Since the scholar is missing from the frame, would he/she be on a break? Was he/she called by the Principal? A bitten apple could imply rushing, or just taking the time to ponder over time.

And yes I don't own any 'apple' gear nor I advertise them.

bye for now

Thanks folks Smile

I had considered taking a bite out of the apple but simply didn't want to eat an apple at the time - that may come later.

It is a bit of a mix of scholar and teacher - I do have a scholar theme in mind but have yet to sort out all the props I want for that. I do have a few things to sort out to achieve the image I want but at the moment time is in short supply - mainly thanks to my spending all weekend at the gallery. Actually it might be a while before things slow down around here!

As for the title - I'm lousy at titles - I tend to put the first thing that enters my head Smile

The apple makes this arangement - gives that colour boost, nicely placed
atop your teacher props.
Good work.

Pah, no teacher bites the apple, who knows what the little "dears" might have injected...

Thanks everyone Smile

My stint at the gallery is now over so evenings should return to normal as of Monday. I've just got to back on Tuesday after work to pack up and then that's it until the next show (should I decide to do one).
