Ah sometimes you just have to take a chance - plus I was carrying the X10 which is a very discreet little camera - the SLR would have been a tad more obvious.

Needless to say I wasn't solo - I was bumbling about with my sister and she too has a discreet camera.

Oh and it was very quiet round there - presumably all the hoodlums were on Las Ramblas (very over-rated) doing what they do best
