I've spent most of the day painting woodwork yet again but managed to skive off for half an hour to take a few flower shots and have just been messing about with them.
My dead pc has yet to be restored to full health so I've given up and have been working on smaller images than I'd like which doesn't help the quality. This is just fun though - however I can't decide which way round I prefer

Both great images but I like V1 because with them facing inwards keeps you drawn in, where's on V2 it does not hold your attention as you are drawn out of the frame

Morning all and apologies for the late return.
It looks like you're all a big bunch of romantics then with the majority liking V1. I still don't know which I prefer and shall remain firmly on the fence.
Thank you all and thank you Pete for the HC. Actually when I opened this file and started fiddling I had no plans to mirror the image but somewhere along the line it suddenly occured to me to have a go. I was fortunate in that I'm quite pally with my flower selling friend so was able to rummage through the bunches and pick out the most wiggly specimens ![]()
Thank you again everyone! I'm hoping that these Kaffir last long enough for me to take some more shots - failing that I hope that my flowerman still has them in a couple of weeks time which is probably when I'll be able to fit some more shooting time in!
