The evening hasn't gone quite as planned - later home than hoped and good intentions of tidying up the studio gone out of the window. At least I did pick up all the debris from a vase of dead flowers I managed to drop - bits of crispy petal and stuff everywhere.
As the table and lights were still set up I decided to simply plonk my vase of odds and sods down and see how they came out. A right shambles of flowers ![]()

I must admit that they aren't exactly arranged - more like tightened up a little bit to keep them within the background but as you can see a rather haphazard bunch with at least two of the Gerbera in need of trimming and putting in another pot. Happily I've some nice little blue glass ones that they'll look good in....
I've usually a vase or two with everything just dumped in - I'm not one for tidy arrangements and they look pretty decent on the table at the top of the stairs when not called on for photographic duties!
