The weekend creeps ever nearer and I'm down to about half an inch of voddy in the bottle - how am I ever going to survive?
Plus I didn't have a red frock to match the bottle label so have turned a silver/blue one red in Paint Shop Pro. It's not perfect but I'll spend somewhat longer on it when I get a spare weekend.

Ha Ha great picture, would of personally called it "one night stand"
voted as its a good pic and also for making me laugh
where do you buy the bags?...lol.
Im actually amazed at how you are turning your skills to subjects from flowers to self , and still keeping uniqueness.
But still brave to post just what pleases you.
Thats great photography.
Fabulous, thats my reaction to the same situation!
Great fun. Well posed well done!
Stunning image love it bit like me right now lol had a good laugh very well done well thought out
Love this Alison...fantastic.
Like how you have changed the colour of the dress, it really suits your skin tones.
This is a great series...have just been looking back at what you have achieved.
Look forward to lots more.
You are definately not a 'bag' lady
Thank you everyone I've wanted to do a red dress version of my bag shots for a few days now and have been trying to come up with an idea when inspiration struck on the bus home this evening. I tend to drift off on the bus......
The bag, if you're interested, is a Primark one - cut open and turned inside out. If I could find a plain brown bag it would make life so much easier but I'll make do for now.
Oddly enough Hilary I don't own any red items of clothes at all - I've always felt it was a bit on the bright side for me but admit it looks quite good in this picture - maybe I'll have to reconsider.
Dave - the flower inspiration is eluding me somewhat lately - a case of same old methinks so I reckon a change is as good as a rest!
Nice legs, shame about the face.
the best of these so far IMO
like it lots
things cant be that bad,,lol,,nice image,,
You're a mad hatter, but one with a constant flow of inspiration, ideas, courage and talent.
I like your unique touch you always bring to your shots. This is a great idea...enjoying the series.
Just a small suggestion - the background is a good choice, but could those few horizontal creases be ironed out. It appears you have a repeating line where the background has been folded and stored. The one through the middle is harsh. You can easily clone out in Photoshop, but better not to have it there.
Thank you again everyone and thank you for the HC and RC
Pete - I did wonder when someone would mention the background - the line is actually a join in the hessian - I can't get it wide enough so had to stitch three 3m lengths together on the long side. It works fine for the dogs as they're short and the line is hidden on the floor but of course I'm slightly taller than a collie
I'll have a crack at cloning it out over the weekend - of course some extremely wide hessian would be preferable if I can ever find any!
Like the light and tones in this. Well done on the HC.
Mod done 4 u
Back again - been out at an Artistree meeting discussing our next show. I think some of these bag pictures will be included for the hell of it.
Thanks for the mods Robin - I've got an outfit like Betty's - maybe I should try that!
I've just done a fresh upload of this image - well almost the same image. I spent ages working on it and then realised I'd used a different shot - and I've not even started on the bottle of wine I bought on the way home
Fabulous series Alison, congrats on the HC!
Mmm, nice, you look goooood in red!
Actually I don't think I own anything in red Goggz - I tend to hide behind nice safe black!
I know what you mean about lurking at night on your own taking snaps
Great gallery you have.
Thanks again folks I've finally got the background back up, steamed and ready for more pics - now I'm just waiting for inspiration to strike!
Don't know how I missed your pf, this image is really good, nice breath of fresh air to see something really different, well done and thanks for sharing.
Thanks Phil - I guess my portfolio is a bit of a mixed bag but most of my enjoyment comes from experimenting. Inspiration waxes and wanes but I usually manage to come up with something eventually.
See? Legs. Gawgess!
Thanks Glenn They will reappear as the weather warms up - for now two layers of sweats is more appropriate but not very photogenic
