Another vase of tulips - these had been downstairs and I'd totally forgotten about them.
Given the Lucisart Whyeth treatment following by fairly aggressive noise removal

Those tulips look rather like I feel right now!
nice colour, definitely sunday night tulips
Beautifully done, the composition and lighting is spot on, love it.
LOL! Fabulous treatment, great light and a great sense of humour too. Made my evening
A beautiful image. I love the one still struggling to be upright. It is called "Hope".
Beautifully composed and captured. Carol
What a fantastic composition.
A classic cattyal image, love it
They look like they've started drooping way too early. If you put a pin through the stem just beneath the flower head before putting them in cold water, they'll start drooping a lot later.
Thank you everyone! These flowers were in an advanced state of droopiness as soon as I unwrapped them - something I've come to expect from the guy I bought them off. I'll try the pin method next time Conrad and see if that helps!
Bitte - you have a far more elegant way with words - Hope is somewhat more poetic than Droopy Tulips
What an awesome image.
I like tulips when they are at this stage, nice treat ment and comp too
Cripes - thank you everyone and thank you for the HC too Most unexpected I must admit!
Superb pic. I just love the movement in this, and the simplicity.
Don,t think this one will be good for a card today
Beautiful arrangement and lighting, Alison.
Cripes again and thank you all
I agree Robin - not really a card friendly image this one and I think my latest upload is even less suitable!
