Still too nippy to run around in my striped socks and still no inspiring flowers to play with so I've just been experimenting with differing Lucisart settings as well as B&W conversions.
They might not be masterpieces but it's proving a useful exercise.....

Excellent work ,well done,
The B&W works well.
Lovely image - great work !
Good work, I like the idea. Tracey
These both work for me Alison.
Great work, especially like V2
First one for me great tones and light.
Thank you all!
I was on the verge of deleting most of the folder of these shots but suddenly decided to take a closer look at a few and I suspect it might be prudent to inspect the rest before I thin them out.
My decision to start experimenting with a bit more than Whyeth is proving a good one - it'll continue to be a very useful setting but there is so much more that the software can do and I must exploit it!
Both versions work equally well, and I can't choose between them.
The cat in the hat is back.......................
Brill - both work really well.
I'm an absolute sucker for stripey socks .... just love this. V1 by a long margin though.
This is a cracking shot, works a treat
oh and V1 for me
V1 for me
A great image
mod on for u
All works in V2 for me ! Gritty and the stripes lock it all down.
V1 for me, I love the skin tones with the way the lighting is set up.
The matching socks and bra certainly draw the eye in, with the hat keeping the mystery alive
A late thank you again everyone - and to Dave for your award (I've loads of striped socks ready to try sometime) - and to Robin for your mod (it's been a while since I've seen Betty)
Roll on the warmer weather when I can do something new - I'm really still too chilly to do much but who knows - maybe I'll get brave and inspired at the weekend - don't hold your breath though!
v1 for me
Lovely tones and a great comp in this, well do on the GEA.
Version one for me.
v1 for me, fine work.lesley
Thanks again everyone I almost dug out the stripes again today but just couldn't quite bring myself to remove the layers of clothing - roll on spring/summer when I'll be mooching about in next to nowt anyway!
At least I can do my snoot/mask pics without having to disrobe.....
Excellent stripes - love version two the best.
The stripes will be back eventually - the sooner the better but not just yet.....
love the socks
