It's been a while since I did any flowery pics so I played for a bit this afternoon with some old bottles I recently bought at a car boot and some random flowers from the garden. It's so nice not having to rely on the flower man in town for supplies - probably just as well as he seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth!

Thanks folks - and thank you Marilyn for your Award - very much appreciated ![]()
The bottles were a real find at the car-boot a few weeks ago - 6 for a quid - can't complain. I now want a knackered old pewter candlestick but sadly am not going to be at any car-boots for a long time now - unless I can be arsed to trudge up to the race-course on Sunday morning and have my doubts that I'll find anything useful there.
Thanks again
The bottles were an excellent find - especially at that price
Apparently there are some stashed away in the barn at my parents place which were found in the garden - one day I'll have another rummage and see if I can find them.
Sadly I've never found anything as interesting in my own garden - before the houses were built it was just farmland.
