Messing about with some grapes earlier this evening - bought so that I could try a few pics with this little dish I bought earlier in the week.
I think I'll have to get a wiggle on and take a few more before I eat them all - they're rather tasty.
A couple of variations tonight- I can't decide which I like better - nothing new there!

The Grapes of wrath, or they will be, if you keep noshing them
Cant make my mind up, like 'em both
Knowing your mind we will no doubt end up with just the dish and the empty stalks
Two excellent juicy images
Thanks for enabling mods, given me something to do. I doubt that I have improved anything but I enjoyed doing it.
Thanks folks - these grapes won't last long that's for sure. And good idea - I'll keep the stalks etc
Thanks for the mod Ivor - not a bad job I should have spent a bit more time and softened the background up - you've confirmed that I should.
I'm going to upload the original as well now - it's very boring
I prefer your own V2 -it just needed a little straighten.
V3 too light and V1 is quite effective too.
V2, V1, V3 , Excellent!
Like them all but would probably choose version 2, would be really interested to hear about your technique I assume the backgrounds textures are digitally added , are you willing share your "trade" secrets.
Very attractively arranged and processed still life with V 1 and 2 vying for top slot with me.
I like v1 - all that heavy texturing works for me.
Like the details and textures in this Alison, good to see the different version
Love the first one, like a Rembrandt painting, awesome
I prefer v1.
V1 and it is such a greatly composed shot. Ann.
I like all the versions, and prefer the first one. I do feel the crop is a shade too tight on the sides. But I like it a lot!
Thanks again everyone - apologies for the late return - I'm trying to choose a load of pictures for some e-card desks and it's a hell of a job!
Thank you too Pete and Ann for your awards - very much appreciated
It's a texture I've not used before and was unsure as to whether it was too heavy - I do quite like it though!
