I started off with one arrangement in mind but ended up with something totally different - which is pretty standard for me Smile

I'm not sure about the velvet I stood everything on- maybe I need to add suitable 'table' fabric to my shopping list.

As you can see I found quite a nice glass - good old charity shops - and two old postcards (50p each)

Love the old postcard - cricking my neck trying to read it.
I've been on a charity shop crawl too collecting glassware for flower images
and we found a lovely man's straw hat.
That pocket watch has such a clear face.
Great overall image.

Thanks everyone Smile Do you think I could find the one little book I wanted to use though? Oh no of course I couldn't - not a clue where it's gone!

I'll see if I can read the postcards over the weekend and shall post the contents here Smile

Well done on the shopping Kate - I'll probably do 3 or 4 lunchtime tomorrow although if there is snow on the ground I probably won't Smile

The glass looks like it is floating in mid air. The arrangement you made is really special. ....Peter
