I started off with one arrangement in mind but ended up with something totally different - which is pretty standard for me
I'm not sure about the velvet I stood everything on- maybe I need to add suitable 'table' fabric to my shopping list.
As you can see I found quite a nice glass - good old charity shops - and two old postcards (50p each)

I can feel a props cupboard coming on, great image as always, very inspirational,
Love the old postcard - cricking my neck trying to read it.
I've been on a charity shop crawl too collecting glassware for flower images
and we found a lovely man's straw hat.
That pocket watch has such a clear face.
Great overall image.
Thanks everyone Do you think I could find the one little book I wanted to use though? Oh no of course I couldn't - not a clue where it's gone!
I'll see if I can read the postcards over the weekend and shall post the contents here
Well done on the shopping Kate - I'll probably do 3 or 4 lunchtime tomorrow although if there is snow on the ground I probably won't
Where did Constable McMilans card come from?
Why was it redirected?
Did he ever get it?
How did it get to you from Ireland?
All relevent questions I feel
The glass looks like it is floating in mid air. The arrangement you made is really special. ....Peter
