I thought an Arts theme would be nice to try this evening - however I just couldn't get the lighting right and I spent so long faffing about adjusting this that and the other that I'm uploading the result anyway - it took too long to dump ![]()
I may well change my mind in the morning of course....... ![]()

Dump it if you really want to, but it looks damn good from where I am![]()
But then I do have an appointment with Specsavers in a a few weeks he he he ![]()
Cracking job as usual lass.....
Because I have seen so many of your previous still life shots, I can see why you felt like just dumping this one. ofcourse most people would have been proud as punch to have produced this, but you set your own higher standard. The only thing I would say is that the camera is a bit wasted as the light isn't strong enough on that spot to make it really visible. - but hey ! who am I to tell you what to do !!! .......Peter
A late thank you everyone
Yep - a few niggles like the disappearing camera but I dare say I'll try again another day. I did try just using a mirror to bounce light back onto the camera but it didn't work - I'll come up with a solution though )
As for tat shops Kaybee - well there are a good few in and around Edinburgh that I really like and have proved fruitful as well as loads of charity shops though of course they can be a bit hit and miss. There are considerably more than in Cheltenham - I have to go out of town to find a lot of my tat - or to Edinburgh ![]()
