The picture is titled Torch as it was suggested by a good pal that it resembled the Olympic torch
Shot in natural light against the wrapping paper and given the Cybia Edgeworks plus negative image treatment.

Superb again - the treatment works so well and the composition and lighting are ace. Nice one. Bruce.
Thanks again everyone - I'm still smiling ![]()
I'm actually managing to refine my technique with this filter as it does tend to produce some unwanted sharp edges. I think I've finally come up with a method that doesn't necessarily speed up the process but does make it a bit easier. I'm sure you all really wanted to know that ![]()

Congrats! You grin away, this is a fantastic shot! Wonderful composition, tones, and detail. ![]()
Thanks Cheryl ![]()
I had just enough of that wrapping paper to stick one length on a sheet of A3 grey board to provide a totally smooth background another length which I attach with clothes-pegs to provide a more undulating effect. Either way, the background is now big enough to do away with that highlight! Now the challenge is to keep the paper clean and tidy - I'm going to have to sort out a case of some sort I think.

Hi Peter - thanks for stopping by! It is indeed very satisfying to earn an EC - trouble is once you have one you want another and I've yet to impress Pete sufficiently again
I'm happy with what I'm managing to produce though (usually) so shall settle for that!
