Another self portrait about which I'm not too sure - I did it earlier today for the weekly B&W Challenge but all I can see are the faults - personal faults that I see when I look in the mirror each day but have the sense to ignore. Photos are another matter and that's what makes me dump a lot of my attempts.
Still, I wanted to have a bash at Hollywood glamour type lighting which kinda worked but not quite. I'm sure I'll try again another day. Nice to mooch about in the silk robe though - that usually lives in the wardrobe

I do that every afternoon. Lie down on the sofa after a light lunch and before I know it 40 winks becomes 40 mins!
Good shot though.
Super image and great style, that book looks quite super doesn't it. There must be a lightoom preset for hollywood style.

Thanks for the mods too - all food for thought.......
I don't use Lightroom Stuart so any presets would be of no use to me. And if the lighting isn't right in the first place then there's no hope I'll keep experimenting though I'm not sure I'll be uploading this evenings attempt
Great shot Alison !!!!!.....certainly has a touch of '30's or '40's glamour to it, which works well............
I've had a play with a mod. to try & add to the Hollywood look.....see what you think ??
