I have cropped the shot of the flood damaged bridge over the river that runs through Hardcastle Crags to see if it improves the quality of the shot.

The crop works well but I prefer the uncropped version as i think it tells more of a story.

Good artistic record with creamy water working quite well here. Would just burn in the grass along the top a bit.

I am not a creamy water fan but overall the picture is good, maybe a slight improvement would have been to have allowed a little more to the top and left of the bridge. For me it seems just a little too crammed into the corner.

I would also like to see a bit more depth to the colours and in particular, to the green.

An image which has clearly been pulled apart by those who dare to put their head above the photographic parapet. I shall remain quiet, and simply say 7/10.
