Thanks for stopping by to look. I'm relatively new to digital imaging and always happy to accept criticism & advice
About Me
I studied Phography in the late 80's, but didn't see it as a career and so retrained in IT. After avoiding cameras for some time, I treated myself to a digital SLR and am now trying to re-learn the basics of imaging and teach myself the new technology.
My main interest is landscapes (partly because I just enjoy getting out there for a walk...), and love good B&W images, probably as a result of working through that medium for so long.
When I moved to digital it seemed a good time to learn how to photograph in colour but at some stage I'd like to get back to mono. I'm interested in experimenting with different subjects & techniques.
I consider myself an enthusiast, though still trying to get my head around digital imaging. There seems to be a huge amount to learn! I'd like to improve my photography for my own satisfaction.
On a personal level, I am married with three young kids, so photography needs to fit in around family and full-time working. Luckily I have a very understanding Husband who lets me escape occasionally!
