Another view from yesterday's trip to the Ogwen.

There was something very surreal about this huge sheet of ice with its random rocks.

I love the way the rocks form a natural v shape leading the eye inwards very cold tones add to the atmosphere

Lovely image. Like this even better that yesterday's. And you're right about it being very useful to be able to slide the tripod on the ice without having to check your levels. Done that myself a few times in recent weeks Smile

you have done well here all the parts of the shot are drawing your stare to the center of frame. The light on the hills work so well with the icy blues of the frozen lake
