The thumbnail does not do it justice so hopefully people will take a look because this one is one of my favourites from you. I can't exactly explain what it is, but the realism and setting make it seem like I could reach right in and pet the bird.

really like this, the ferns framing it make for an excellent composition. like the softness around the edges. superb detail. these are rather elusive creatures, they like to play "hide and seek" especially if they think you are watching. So to capture the detail like you have is very nice.
