Ok... time to prepare for the fritillary onslaught that is going to make me miss Provence immensely this year!
It is looking like being an amazing year for Marsh Fritillaries here in the UK this year with the sites heaving with caterpillars that are just beginning to pupate. I am hoping to find the butterflies before this month is out
Further west in the country they've been out for a week or so already!
