Glad to see you're posting again and that your images are as stunning as ever, Tim. This one is fabulous - the blossom really suits the subject - although, to be honest, I don't like the framing as much as the ones around your other images!

Unusual to see a red admiral this early.I was told they do not hibernate.Lovely shot .

Thanks for all your kind words! Robert in this part of the world they actually can be seen almost all through the winter, a very hardy species indeed and one of the first to come out of hibernation.
