I took this photo at a 'Nebuta' festival in Aomori, Japan. there were huge displays made of bamboo paper and bamboo shoots, and people were pulling them along and dancing behind them and playing instruments and it was quite loud and chaotic but it was so cool! this is just part of one of the 40 displays that were there.
p.s. we traveled 8 hours by coach to get there, but it was worth it in the end.
