i read an article on how sometimes over exposing your photos can be effective, so i tried it... and viola!

Absolutely, but not at the same time! Well, sort of. Doesn't really work like that lol! You will see more grain in darker images with the ISO cranked right up and overexposing the image can be done on any ISO setting if the camera has its aperture wide open and the shutter speed is slow enough.... Even so, the look on this is good, I like it. But have a go at experimenting with the high ISO, but expose more to how it should be and you will see the grain a lot more. Its more "noise" than grain, they are quite different, but if you convert to black and white the "noise" does turn to very effective grain....

I think it's brilliant when folk experiment with their camera to produce something a little different. This is certainly something different and if you love it that's all that matters!!
