Yup, the shadow is definitely a distraction, and probably the first thing I saw when I looked at the foreground. But aside from that my initial response was that I like the shot.

As a thought, I wonder what it would have looked like with the waterline on the far shore a little higher in the frame. Maybe even shot from kneeling or lying down on the ground right at the waters edge. Would have made for some nice looong reflections.
