Taken at Newtown Creek on 140410, IW, Black headed Gull had just caught this crab and was off somewhere quiet for a spot of tea.
f/5.6, 280mm, 1/1600 sec, ISO 250, aperture priority, centre weighted. Please view large if time allows.

Superb action capture David with the wihite plumage exposed to perfection. Wonderful detail of the prey as well, plus the flying water droplets.
