Thanks for taking the time to check out my portfolio.
I took up photography as a hobby 2 years ago, joined epz almost immediately, and hope that Ive improved in that time, through reading anything and everything and more importantly seeing the work of so many talented people on this site.
I have two daughters, one married and in the USA, the youngest about to marry, and living in London. Circumstances in the last few years prompted me to find a hobby in which to immerse myself, and photography seemed to be the ideal choice. It would get me out and about when my health allows , and hopefully with having no children left at home, would occupy some of the extra free time I seemed to have.
I spend a lot of time in Portugal, having a home there, hence the plethora of portuguese images in my portfolio. Im quite eclectic on the subjects I shoot, and will try my hand at anything....after all isnt that how we learn? if at first you dont succeed, try, try, then try again.
Photography has renewed my passion for life, I look at things in a totally different way now, and appreciate things around me far more. When I see a sunset/sunrise I WANT to capture that moment for all time, when I see a scene I WANT to record it. Photography has opened my eyes to the wonderful sights that I see and epz gives me the opportunity to share those sights with others.
