First in a series of geological detail shots from the Berwick-Upon-Tweed coast. I'm a big fan of shooting geological details as they appeal very much to my visual sense, and I enjoy the abstract compositions that one can produce.

Many thanks to Chant57 for the helping me locate these rocks, and whose images taken here inspired me to explore the area in the first place.

Thanks for looking,
Michael.

Love this Michael. Makes me want to reach out and touch it - beautifully tactile. A superb study. Love the narrow channel of sea water than runs right through the image.
Glad you found them!

Love the soft folds of the rock and the meandering line of the fault eroded by time.

Could be an aerial photograph of a deep canyon...
A tactile abstract. Looking forward to more.
