Ok, so this is what I started with, but I have been a bit obessed with hdr lately. The problem is it doesn;t work with everything. I think this may be better. Less grainy and fuzzy. I would love to have used a longer exposure on this, but (for now )I have a point and shoot and most of my long exposurers come out overexposed Sad Let me know if you think this is better than the other

Hi Charity

I much prefer the tonality in this shot - it is far more natural though you have cropped it slightly tighter than your previous upload. The water movement is good as is the detail - a very well produced shot from a point and shoot - well done.

Andy

PS - If you can come up with a device for holding an ND filter over the lens this will fool the camera into thinking it is actually darker than it is, and so avoiding over exposure of your long shutter speed shots.

I prefer this one. Slightly better Composition and I believe the leaf is sharper. The shutter speed is fine and I don't think you want to go any slower than this. A good image and you are quite right HDR is not the answere to every image.

I believe Cokin do a filter holder for compacts - has your camera got a tripod bush? If so worth checking out.
Prefer this to the previous upload personally.

Dave
