Part of my 'Within the sound of Bow Bell series'. I spent the morning in the East End of London yesterday. I grew up in the area, and although I haven't lived there for more years than I care to say, I still feel slightly attached to the place.
This is Dennis Sever's House in Folgate Street, Spitalfields E1, one of the many beautiful houses which mainly housed the Huguenot silk weavers in the early 18th century. Its one of those times when I wished I had a Tilt & Shift lens During processing I found it quite difficult to correct the perspective due to the fact that with a building this old, nothing really looks straight but although not perfect, I think it adds to the quirkiness
Thanks as always for stopping by.
