An alley off of Fleet Street EC4. This is Samuel Johnson's house and dates back to the early 17th century. I hired a PC&E lens for a few days to play about with it.
Thanks for all the kind C&C's for yesterday's upload and also for the great feedback for my website.
Very nicely captured Charlotte
Don't know what PCE stands for but guessing it may be parallax correcting. Is that a touch of London mist in the air? In any case, I like the image. It reeks of history and those windows on the left makes one think it could be a pub. TG
Excellent capture Charlotte love the pov and the texture and colours ,
A very detail and well composed image which is clearly steeped in history, full of nostalgia and endless narratives. I would like to see it in monochrome if possible PLEASE.
There are still quiet, intimate corners even in Central London. Delightful image.
Lovely composition Charlotte
Great capture, Charlotte, love those circular windows. Some great images in your portfolio and enjoyed your website too
I assume thats a tilt-shift lens. Works well here, Charlotte, the distortion would be horrendous with a normal lens.
