This has got to be Pigs Bay, Shoeburyness, Essex, not the Bay of Bigs in Cuba!!
The long exposure gives some good textures here, Charlotte, and the mono makes it look as bleak as it probably is!!

Shoeburyness can be bleak at the best of times but you have made it at least look dramatic. Lots of detail and a nice range of tones giving the image that contrasty look. Composition wise
you have managed leading lines and repeating patterns. The square crop is and interesting choice for a subject that almost shouts landscape. Would have like to see the pair side by side. That said your attention to detail is as always faultless. Regards.

Love this image and the use of slow exposure works wonders here, the composition is superb too leadinng your eye into the image.
