Durdle Door and Durdle Door beach, leading to the valley called Scratchy Bottom (more on that later).
Looking out of the window at 6.30 pm Wednesday I saw a lovely evening, loads of sunshine with a smattering of fluffy clouds giving the indications of a wonderful sunset ahead, so, my friend Giles and I decide to make the 1 hour and 40 minute trip along the coast to Durdle Dor and Man o War bay in Dorset. It was a fab journey and the weather still looked very promising for a spectacular sunset.... then 10 minutes before we arrived the clouds rolled in and totally obscured the sun.
So here's what we managed to capture, not the most awe inspiring, but please remember this was about 9pm and almost total cloud cover.
It was fun though and although I hate heights it was worth the effort... we will go back at some point and hopefully have better luck.
