Hey thank you soooo much Charlotte really appreciate your award....I did want the water to be further up the shore but it would have meant getting just below waist deep ,i'll take my swimming trunks next time ,thanks again SmileSmile

Wow thank you for your award Mark it means a lot coming from another LE fan,the place has got bags of potential but you have to work really fast as the tide can move in as much as 10 metres in the time it took to take this shot, thanks again SmileSmileSmile

The long exposure water really separates the stones beautifully and their colour is enhanced in this way too. Their receding geometry and the vanishing point headland create lots of depth. Sounds like long exposures at the seaside can be a risky business!

That's just rubbing it in Jeremy!! Exactly the sort of shot I wanted, but failed, to get when I visited here a couple of weeks ago.
I am very impressed and jealous.

What a great start to the day ,thank you Derek. I've been there 5 times and timing it right with the tides is very difficult .The shot I'm after is one looking out to sea with the clouds rushing in and a similar fg to this one.....the quest continues, thanks again SmileSmile

Some well deserved awards here for a lovely composition
and exposure perfect. I love the greens on the rocks
