I uploaded the colour version of this image yesterday and several people mentioned that they would like to see a mono version. So here it is.

Although I do like this I agree Helen.
Excellent conversion, Derek, but I'm with Helen on the colour version.

This is a cracker although it's too close to call between this and the colour version.

Your signature high quality composition Derek and the monochrome has stripped away all but the essential shapes and tones of this beautiful image. Nicely done.
