1st Place Sam: It's not often you can see an expression on frogs, but you've caught quite a disapproving stare! Brilliant eye contact, and the background truly enhances the image with the colours of Spring, very well caught! A worthy winner!

2nd Place Aryan: A gorgeous image of Snowdrops. The colours are very true to life and the focus right where it should be. We really like the fact you have other flowers in the background (using brilliant depth of field).

3rd Place = Ciara: Gorgeous yellow daffodils, brilliantly caught! We liked the way you associated them with the weather in Ireland at the moment "grey and overcast with a bit of brightness peeking through". Well seen and thought out!

3rd Place = Ben: What a change from your usual subject - you've caught the centre of this Primrose brilliantly, wonderful colours and details.

Sean: Baby birds are so endearing. You've caught the Robin brilliantly, it's definitely having a bad hair day, the hands gently holding it show how tiny it is. Really glad to see you weren't tempted to use your flash!

Aaron: You have captured the colours and details of the Daffodils brilliantly, beautifully sharp and having the petals back lit shows how delicate the petals are. Well done!

James: A gorgeous triptych, beautifully presented. The blue skies and catkins are something we all look forward to seeing in the Spring.

Colin: A wonderful shot, well caught! You've focused on the Tree Creeper brilliantly. These birds are very hard to capture, not only because they are well camouflaged, but because they are never still!

Bekkah: You have focused on the centre of this beautiful flower brilliantly. The colours and beautifully sharp details are fantastic.

Charlotte: You've focused on the Tulip brilliantly, the colours are wonderful. We really like the way we can see those gorgeous stamens in the centre of the flower. A lovely composition too.

Amy: The back lighting on the Swan's wings is wonderful, it looks like it's posing just for you - the unusual angle makes this image different from the norm!

Evelina: This is a very striking and eye catching image. The image was obviously well thought out and the manipulation well done.

Elliot: The point of view is perfect for this little group of Crocus. A gorgeous sign of Spring when they show their brightly coloured heads above the cold ground. Well caught!

Connor: A brilliant manipulation. It's not as easy as it looks to make images like this look realistic, but you are very adept in making the scene believable.

Thomas: One of the first signs of Spring is the tiny lambs bouncing around the fields. You've caught these two brilliantly, lots of aahh! factor.

Ceri: The bright sunshine and silhouette of the monkey has been caught well - here's hoping Spring really does bring the sunshine!

Charlotte: A beautiful collage, well put together. Each one of the images used have been brilliantly caught, lovely colours and brilliant details.

Emmeline: The Sparrow having it's Spring clean made us smile! It really couldn't be much wetter! You've managed a brilliant low point of view and you've zoomed in brilliantly, lots of soggy details!

Emily: Such a sad shot of the dead gull, reminding us that Spring is just a part of the circle of life. An unusual interpretation, but the image has been well caught and presented.

Bronwen: Another fantastic collage, with an amazing selection of flowers. The colours are wonderful and there are so many!

James: This is a very 'arty' image - the daffodil has been manipulated beautifully, but the lighting still hints at a delicacy. Well caught and manipulated.

Adam: Beautiful little lambs - one looks to be having a stretch. You've caught them well, definitely a sign of Spring!
