I think the flower head could take a bit more contrast and sharpening imo. I do like shots like this.

I reduced the presence slightly in Lightroom to give a softer look as I thought it suited the mood I am trying to convey.

A very sad and rather emotive image, which lends itself to many interpretation, so very apt for the monochrome makeover.
