This was a shot that I took the other day. It's only my second time using studio lighting so comments and critique are welcome.

A good attempt Michelle, the playfulness works pretty well.
I`m not to sure where you positioned your lights, but the chap on the left could do with a little more light. There are sevaral ways to light this that would work well, you could try this.
I would have the main light at 45% and to the left of the girl at head and shoulder height. The second light at 45% and low on the rhs, angled to throw a little more light behind the girl and into the eyes and lower part of the face of the chap. Give this second light 30/50% less power.
