Top quality timing Steve Caught this one just about right.
Just a thought (and in no way a criticism) I wonder what the shot would look like if you stood either to the left or right and thereby took yourself off the centre line.??? Think this might give a bit more emphasis to the athelete.

Thanks Ron for your input. It was very difficult to get a 'good position' on the day and we just had to put up with whatever we could get. I thought that because we had to officially sign in as photographers that we would have access inside the track....but I was wrong Sad. Many of the field events were just impossible to photograph because of this limitation.

I know it is an old shot now but still a sensational shot and subject is blur free, I have yet to take my humble E620 and EC20 to a sports event, and I know just how fast these High Jumpers move well caught, just love it. Chen.
