Taken a few weeks ago before sunrise. This place gets very busy so very early is better than late for the night time shots.
Thanks for looking,
Dave

An excellent composition David, and your chosen time has paid dividends - a smashing piece of work.

Hi David,
Great shot , i didnt know that restaurant got
lit up at night , and i see they have put other lighting features around the docks , i usually
go there in the day .
Great composition , i may just get down there soon to check it out one morning!
ps Just how do you decide when to do hdr and when not to apart from b&w ?
Regards, David
Thanks very much folks.
Hi David, The docks look better with each passing year nowadays, especially from a photographer's point of view. As you say, there's a lot more fancy lighting dotted around the place and it makes for much more interesting pictures.
Got to run but I'll get in touch about my hit and miss approach to HDR and tone mapping soon.
Dave
A beautifully exposed and detailed image.
