Alrighty...now several pics ago (still on Page 1 at this point in time) I uploaded a duotych of a couple of caterpillars.

Caterpillars of the Oleander Hawkmoth or Daphnis Nerii.

Well, here's the beautiful pattern to be found from an aerial view of said species of moth.

I found this fella in the house - don't know if it was one of the caterpillars. He was kinda subdued and a bit damaged - maybe from flying into the ceiling fan or being attacked by a house lizard. Anywho, I transferred him onto my hand, brought him to my desk and photographed him. After a while he crawled back onto my hand and refused to leave. So I transferred him to my left hand while I continued to photograph other things at my desk.

Wherever he is now, I hope there ain't no ceiling fans or lizards Smile

Look at this from one angle & you see two eyes, a nose & mouth staring at you, then from another angle it reminds me of one of those stealth planes.....
A fantastic capture, & some wonderful colours & patterns to it which must be fantastic camoflage in it's natural habitat.
An amazing capture & presentation boyo Wink
