Now then…here’s something taken the day before the dragonfly shot. Also in the garden and with the same cam. Had a fiddle-dee-dee to (a) get it sharper and nicer-looking, and (b) get rid of the background ‘cos it was way too distracting for me.
This is a female Olive-Backed Sunbird, a daily visitor. We have other sunbirds now and then but this one is the regular.

**By the way, the red spiky thing in yesterday’s shot is the unopened bracts of a heliconia inflorescence. To be precise, a Heliconia latispatha.
