I have never apologised to a flower before but I guess there’s always a first time for everything. So here goes…Sorry, Buddleia!
This is in reference to where I went yesterday, “I shall leave you with these small blooms and hope they’re not too blooming boring.”
I have never found any flower boring and I felt bad for saying what I said, even though I meant it in jest (hey, I never claimed to be sane). Anywho, I’ve learnt my lesson: Never upload when knackered!
NOW THEN…many thanks to those who mentioned butterflies yesterday with regards to the buddleia. ‘Cos for a good couple of months now, I haven’t been appreciating the butterflies in the garden let alone even thinking of photographing them. We have about 3-5 types visiting at any one time, usually.
BUT…we’ve had a treat recently. Plain Tigers. One couple and two singletons. After reading the butterfly comments this morning, I tried some shots this afternoon.
Here’s one I quite like. A Plain Tiger on the buddleia. Processing is Contrast up 10% and Saturation up 20%.
Maybe a couple more to come from today’s attempts, once I have a good look at the rest and see if there’s anything worthy.
PS By the way, chuckling my a*s off at mikbee’s comment yesterday
