Still with the temple.

Hmmm…I couldn’t decide which to lead with so I decided to go with my favourite of the four. I don’t know why I like this shot. I never think about that when I take pics, I guess. Sometimes I come back and go mehhh…and the shot gets chucked. Sometimes I come back and find a little hidden something and go hey hey! This shot has no hidden anything…unless the underneath of those slippers says ‘Jimmy Choo’, in which case WHOA is in order.

SO…Pic 1 are slippers at the temple entrance. I decided to leave it uncropped. All thoughts welcome. Just leave your footwear at the door.

Pic 2: See that little dark step in V1? In the middle of that step are that design and flowers strewn on top. Pic 3 is an overhead shot.

Pic 4: I thought this pattern was pretty cool. It was on the ceiling a few steps into the temple. Kinda psychedelic, huh? Grin

I love the way telling little details can convey so much. V1 and V3 in particular are both beautiful in their cool simplicity.

v1 reminds me of our recent to trip to Burma, so many temples and so many 'shoes off'!!Grin A lovely, simple, well composed image. v3 gets my vote though, for the colour and softness of the flowers against the hard grey stone.

A difficult choice between them - if I am required to make a choice Smile- but v2 gets my vote. I had originally thought v3 but I like the perspective of v2. A fascinating and well taken set Andrew!

Wow it's got to be V4 - such lovely colour and design. I like V1 too - sets me wondering who the footwear belongs to? young/old? tall/short, slim/not so slim? WinkWinkWink

Andrew it is the way you see and capture a subject and then present it that is so special.
V2 is my favourite but the others are superb captures too.

The better half got it about right Andrew only I prefer V1, but you do have a natural ability to "see the shot".

Thanks for showing them all, Andrew. V1 is the one for me, it has its own little story, and the fact that there is only one pair of shoes at the entrance tells yet another story.......being alone, time for quiet contemplation inside.
