Ok…so I’d gone out onto the patio and noticed a couple of ‘shells’ raining down from the rambutan tree in the garden. A-hah! Rambutan skins. From the gentle shake of the branches I knew it was one of our squirrels (and not a monkey). So I went in, got the cam, and quietly made my way to the tree.

V1: Trying to lay low and be unnoticed Grin

V2: Completely stoned out and about to have a siesta after his rambutan fiesta. Greedy git.

V3: The rambutan tree’s other visitors.

Andrew

What a super set, Andrew, and isn't he well camouflaged. Don't think you would have seen him if he hadn't inadvertently made himself known by dropping the shells Smile Carol

I think the squirrel may be stalking the wasp Andrew.
Not a lot of dinner for it there though !!
Good shots.

Great story about your Rambutan Tree, Andrew!
What a busy tree, with an interesting life.

The silly Chocolate Pansy was so hidden that I had to point it out with the pink dots. NO idea why I felt the need to label the big fat wasp, though Blush

All I can say is that if there was a rambutan tree in my garden I'd have eaten all the fruit myself by now! Excellent shots - love the squirrel, it's always nice to see wildlife in the garden.

Nope, he's very stealthy Smile I'm usually alerted to his presence by rustling movements or sounds.

He's normally pretty skittish. He gets 'braver' when there's food involved, though Grin
