Just two shots of lantanas taken this evening in the driveway.

I had gone to bring in the wheelie bin. As I neared the gate, the raindrop in V2 caught my eye as it caught some evening sun. I got a shot of that with the aid of an extension tube. Since I had the cam with me I decided to get a shot of the two heads in V1 (sans extension tube) which were just a few feet away.

Does V1 look a little dark to you? Hard to tell on my monitor sometimes.

Thanks for the response to yesterday’s rooty cat, all Grin

Andrew

Lovely shots Andrew. V2 my favourite. Love the rain drops. Those unopened flowers look like little bows! V1 looks ok to me that is not too dark. Cathy

Two beautiful images, the darkness of the bg in V1 adds to the beauty of the image, the flowers are beautifully lit...great captures...a question....why do you carry your camera with you to bring in the wheelie bin?

Lol...it did sound like that, didn't it? Grin No no...went for wheelie bin and saw the drop. Went back into house, got cam, took the shots. Cam back into house, me back outside to get wheelie bin. The lantanas are about 10-15 seconds from where the cam is anyway.
