Not perhaps as you intended but I hope you like the mod. No real critque only perhaps a little fill in flash to bring out detail in the dress and diffuse the background. Welcome to epz.

this is a great picture. I have uploaded a quick mod so its not perfect but im sure you can see what i was getting at.

Using photoshop, i did a little shadows&highlights and the used the burn tool on the background to try and bring it out. I think the texture in the back is good and works with the shot. A bit more care and attention (rather than a rush job like i did) would bring the background out nicely.

I like the pov, colours, crop and eye contact. I agree with ashminder about the b/g. Having more textures and a tad darker b/g does help lift out the subject.

Look forward to seeing more of your work here on EPZ.

All the best.

A great subject, but by photographing from your height rather than hers it has given her the appearance of a large head on a narrow body which I think might possibly been exgagerated by choice of focal length.
Kinfatric's mod is an idea of how it should have looked.

Is this a photograph taken by yourself or taken from a book, as the description is amibiguous?

Nick

Thanks to everyone for your comments and especially the mods. Very nice of you. Also edited the description with "Also seen..." per Nick Parry's keen eye. Thanks!
