Well Isabel, I like them both but just to throw a spanner in the works what I'd really like is a mixture of the two, I have to agree with Gary & Mick the shadow helps but then I also agree with Andy about the colours, textures and detail in V1. I've got a headache now thinging about it. Wink

Two excellent minimalist captures. I think I might have tried to strengthen the composition of both by moving the urchins closer to the 1/3 rule intersection point. A capture as good as this is worth playing with to optimise the result. A
