This one washed up on the beach at sun rise...
It's wonderful what you can find if you go for a walk at low tide.
Photo taken in Armacao de Pera beach - Algarve - Portugal
I see a lot of these beautiful sea urchins here in Crete, Isabel, and watch the local folk collecting them and eating them raw Well spotted and captured, did you keep the shell as an ornament? Carol
two wonderful captures isabel brilliant colours and textures wonderful detail v1 for me but not by much a cracker nice one
a fine composition, the texture of the beach is a great backdrop
Low tide is my favourite time too Isabel,
to see what ''goodies'' have been washed up !!
Like the light in V2.
Two very good images Isabel, excellent textures and light.
Two great images but its the shadow in V2 that really takes it for me. - gary
Two super textural images
Well Isabel, I like them both but just to throw a spanner in the works what I'd really like is a mixture of the two, I have to agree with Gary & Mick the shadow helps but then I also agree with Andy about the colours, textures and detail in V1. I've got a headache now thinging about it.
i do like !
V2 is my favourite for a vote
Great detail. Really like the minimalist look. Good work.
'Really love the 'light & shadow play' of the washed-up sea urchin in v2,' Isabel. ~ Good Work ~
I love the light in V2 and also the sharp shadow cast by the urchin. Well taken shots Isabel. Moira
Well spotted and a great warm light in V2
so nice, how the light falls on your beach.......
Well composed and captured ,
The wonderful colours and shaddows in V2 are a clear winner for me Isabel... nice one.
Simple, excellent, very well exposed. Lovely capture, Isabel.
I like this minimalistic, arty shot, especially
the V2 with shadow
Two excellent minimalist captures. I think I might have tried to strengthen the composition of both by moving the urchins closer to the 1/3 rule intersection point. A capture as good as this is worth playing with to optimise the result. A
Simply beautiful.....nice capture.
