Mermaid and beasty. Iteresting tiles Isabel.
Suvannamaccha (lit. golden mermaid) and Hanuman, the Vanar God of Hindu mythology.
Suvannamaccha is a mermaid princess who tries to spoil Hanuman's plans to build a bridge to Lanka but falls in love with him.
Images of Suvannamaccha are hung as luck bringing charms in shops and houses throughout Thailand.
