Still going "on the wall"
From the archives of my trip to Thailand. Don't know if it's a butterfly or a moth... they are not very sharp shots but it's an unusual looking "babe"! GrinGrinGrin

Easy way to tell moths and butterflies apart.....Butterflies have bulbs on the end on the antennae and moths don't! Moths sometime have feathered antennae, but not always Smile
If you're looking for an ID from me on this one, I haven't a bloody clue....But in my defence it is foreign Tongue

It's not in my Nature Book and I went on Google images and did not see it there, sorry
Let hope that someone will come to the rescue with an ID.
Anyway it's a great setSmile

Moths rest with their wings open. Butterflies rest with their wings closed. This is a moth, albeit a completely out of focus one.

Hi Chinga three good captures SmileThogh I have noticed that all of the shots are a bit soft.SadI suspect the images are taken hand held and at one eighth of a second that would be far to slow.
I would suggest a minimum speed of one sixtieth and if needed you could always use a bit higher ISO.SmileThis is just a thought as to where I would be going if these were my images.
Regards John.Smile
