The Theme: Wood
Still on wood. A rotting boat found in my last visit to sunny Portugal...
In Algarve we can find a lot of this "relics" abandoned by the local fisherman.

I like the colours in v1. Has v3 been reversed as the words are the wrong way round?

A brilliant set of lovely textured images.Smile
I like how you choose a themeSmileDo you have a theme in your mind and then look out for something suitable or do you take your photos and then decide on the theme,as I 've been competing in a few of our local shows around here with my photography and I find it more difficult when it's an open competition and you can enter anything,I like to work on a themeSmileand we do a lot of themed work in school.Smile

You certainly have a great photographic eye Isabel, and one which can capture the ordinary and make it appear to be the extraordinary.

Bright and beautifully textured, Isabel. v1 is almost abstract and my favourite.

Isabel, you always seem to find great color relationships. I love V1&2, but with 3 I find the parking lot in the background distracting. I almost prefer to not know what V1 is from.......I do not have to know that it is a boat, just wonderful abstract form and color.
