This week is going to be a terracotta theme.
Todays shots were taken in various visits to the Barbican Centre plant conservatory
Amazing what an image a broken flower vase can make...

Totally agree , Terracotta is a lovely subject, especially when worn and damaged, four super images, I like them all

I love terracotta plant pots, Isabel, so much more pleasing to the eye than plastic, and much kinder to the plants within them, too. Lovely decorations on this one you spotted/captured, but it looks as though it is going to fall apart completely before very long Smile Carol

Think you took these at the right time, think that pots had it. Only terracotta pot I've seen with green coming through Isabel. Well done.

These pots have certainly seen some life - they have so much more character than plastic pots that are around these days! A good find Isabel. Smile

Love terracotta pots, they get better with age, this one has had it unfortunatly.
Pity the tree wasn't re potted before it outgrew the pot. Lovely images Isabel.

Cool images Isabel. My wife is a tile making ceramist, and is always stopping to look at terra cotta.
